It's simply another bandaid, not a solution to the problem. The root of the problem is not that people leave their homeland so their children can be Americans. They leave because they have no job, no house, no safety, whatever. They come here because greedy corporations and others are willing to hire them at below minimum wage. If there were no jobs here for them, they'd stop coming. The solution is to get at the people hiring them and impose heavy and consistent penalties, then there is no reason to come.
