From what she says about this bill, it would give the Arizona Secretary of State broad discretion to bar Presidential candidates from the ballot. If a similar law had been in effect in a deep blue state in 2008, the Secretary of State could have barred McCain on the basis of his foreign birth, and apparently no one could have done anything about it.
