I understand you just fine (or the "18-year-old you," again presuming there's a grain of truth to your statements). You're saying "I can vomit up bad acting, bad writing, bad effects, lousy camera work, thumb-fingered editing and -- fer crissakes -- shitty costumes, and because it's so over the top that no sensible person would watch it, that makes me a master of the socially aware avant garde." Or some such shit.

Crap is crap and it doesn't take a very discerning eye when the turd is stuck to the bottom of your shoe.
