Nobody could say anything about the sitting (though unelected) president. And, as I recall, it was the same corporate censorship forces that are allowing this ad to run that were silencing any dissent on their networks.

And thank her for what? The American public should (except for her supporters) should feel insulted that Republican PR and marketing organizations keep trying to sell somebody that they have resoundingly rejected. They think the public is stupid enough to change their minds and support her if they use just the right colored background in an ad, or if they craft the perfect catchphrase. Nevermind that her positions on substantive issues, while only slightly different from the Democrats' views, are so profoundly destructive for 95% of the country.
