Ventura may have been trained by the Navy to blow things up but that doesn't mean jack shit. He is still an idiot.

The jet fuel cannot melt the steel beams, the contents of the building, maybe. Paper, fabrics, wood furniture all burn hotter than the airplane fuel and there was a lot of it. Ever seen a blacksmith "make" a horseshoe with a tiny fire of wood coals. But the beams didn't melt. The large volume of burning fuel ignited the building contents producing an enormous amount of heat (but not at a high enough temperature to melt steel -- heat is not the same as temperature). The beams buckled due to the stress of this heat.

There is no mystery or conspiracy, it's not even rocket science. Even if Bush and Co. are evil enough to try something as outrageous at this, they are too stupid to do it. And the government is too disorganized to form a conspiracy to cover it up.
