I was so glad to see the local news picking up on this story. AND it was the TOP story of the 10 o'clock news! There isn't anything on their website about it, but maybe it will be coming...

Is there a way for you family/attorney to get a different social worker on your sister's case? It does sound like you all are trying to get this done, but running into resistance.

Another DUer, upthread from those post, mentioned contacting John Edwards about this matter. I know his wife, Elizabeth, posts occasionally here on DU. I don't have any contact information for him, but if someone does, would you please post here, so Melanie can contact him. This matter is RIGHT up his alley. I feel certain he would help you.
