The threateners are already liable under various cyber-stalking and counterterrorism laws, whether they attack or not. Law enforcement needs to send a strong message to criminally-minded extremists and blowhards everywhere, and this would be a great place to start.

At this point, we'd have to presume that Malkin herself has committed no crime. Even if physical attacks occurred, it would be quite difficult to make a direct link to her blogging and convict her under any laws I know of -- racketeering and/or incitement to lawlessness included. However, if a pattern could be established showing that all those who made threats did so as a result of her web content, then a racketeering case could very well emerge. Once again, this hinges on law enforcement efforts to arrest the people who actually made threats, first and foremost.

From what I understand, it is not a crime to post publically-available contact information on a blog, even one that foments political controversy. Some websites prudently avoid legal entanglements (including ones they can win) by discouraging such content, but it is hardly a necessity.
