as you show on your "German sign"

so this is not a proof that the sign is Turkish (they follow the international convention)

but plenty of other elements show that the picture has been taken in Turkey. And probably in a very European-like part of a town (probably Istanbul), since "normal" Turkish towns look more "arabic" except for the language signs.
