I just did a quick research for some of the signs displayed in the photo.

If you google the words "2.Noter", the sign prominently displayed in that photo several times, all your results come out in Turkish and with references to Turkey, and particularly Istanbul. It seems to be a Turkish-based NOTARY business, as "Noter" is the Turkish word for "Notary."

Edo, as I found out by doing another google, is a brand of icecream from... TURKEY. Here's the company data:

That photo is NOT from downtown Bagdad. All the signs are in roman characters (not Arabic), and the youths seem to be wearing nice western clothes. There's some thriving businesses going on in the background, and new western-European cars. This is either Turkey, or somewhere in the Turkish/Kurdish border (at the very least). But I doubt the girl in the picture would be wearing that short sleeveless top in the Kurdistan.

It's Turkey.

And Kaloogian is a poser.
