14. I bought Joan's first album almost as soon as it was released.
She was taking the country by storm not long afterwards. I attended her performance in Denver in 1964 (or was it 63?), then saw her and Bob Dylan perform together in Seattle not long after that. Have several of her albums (yes, the old 33-1/3s) and they remain in my extensive collection of vinyls to be passed along to my children upon my demise (hey, I'm older than Joanie!) and I only hope they will treasure them as I do.
A very happy birthday to Joan. She made an incredible impact on my life and she gets better with age. Just like me! ;-)
