1. What Should We Do ?
Without owning any part of the government, we certainly need to do what we're doing. Raising our voices at the last bastian of freedom of speech - the Internet.

There is no doubt, there could be a huge swing in the electorate come November - if we have a fair count. But with all that we know, can we not imagine some unknown 'opposition upsurge' in the voting public with the exit polls being wrong - yet again?

At the moment, only 33% of American's back Dubya. I've always felt this was the core of the Freepers, and it's the Reagan Democrats that have been swinging the elections - before Diebold, that is. At this point, we hope the trend continues. That must be what Harry Reid is thinking, because otherwise, he's embarrassing me almost as much as the Rethugs.

I've watched the James Spader (Alan Shore) video a dozen times. I was pulled from my chair when it was on, and tears in my eyes at it's end. I knew I was listening to something profound, powerful, with reasoning that washed over me like an ocean wave. I could envision the power of the argument so being so powerful that every man, woman, and child would be standing and applauding the sentiments.

What can we do? We can look for a hero. Someone who can take the fight to those currently in power, and knock the door down. Paul Wellstone would have just that. Until we find a new Sir Lancelot, maybe Feingold, maybe not, we need to send letters to the editors, post on blogs, place messages on our bumpers, in short, whatever you feel will make a difference.
