These were both from his address and Q & A yesterday at the National Newspaper Association.

His "me" statement:

I believe liberty is universally desired. And I know it's in our interest to help democracy spread. (referencing Iraq, of course)

Followed shortly thereafter by his "God's plan" statement:

I do believe there's an Almighty God that has spread freedom -- making freedom available for everybody.

So, who is doing all this freedom spreading? Well, God is, using his handy dandy right hand guy, gwb himself.

Messianic complex, anyone? :scared: MKJ
