a googly is a leg spin bowler's special ball. It appears to be heading for the leg stump but spins back towards off stump and deceives the batsman. That the king of spin could be so deceived is priceless. That he publicly stated that he was deceived by a googly only tells the planet that he knows nothing about cricket or the political analogies associated with its terms. That he was deceived by a tennis ball is way to funny.
A fitting comment would be that he bowled a googly to the planet since November 2000. Bush and the googly won't go away - bet on that.
