There's really no point to watching her program. I don't think Rita's a bad person or anything, and I'm kind of getting used to her voice - it's just that she seems so shallow, and the stories she covers are mostly tabloid-y trash.

The funniest thing about Rita is that she is included in Tweety's "heavy hitters" segment or whatever it's called - actually a promotional segment with MSNBC's struggling evening hosts. Tucker and Joe S are no geniuses, but Rita doesn't even seem to belong in their company. (I notice it is not considered necessary for KO to appear in these segments.)

I do think that Hardball and Countdown are the best 2 hours in TV news at the moment.
