23. actually, the Nixon administration set that up....
it's true the unions were split and probably more supported than opposed the war, though some unions became vocal opponents.

there are supposed to be tapes of Haldeman and Nixon planning for the 'union members' some of whom were just thugs, to kick ass on the protesters in NYC.
