In the 1960's it was just the hippies, the liberals, and college-age folks who were against the war.
That's simply untrue.
those three groups couldn't have gotten anywhere without mainstream America's growing opposition to the war.
Vietnam veterans groups, unions, the civil rights movement and middle of the road people got involved.
It was a mighty, righteous movement....
the idea that only wild-eyed bomb-throwing hippies and college leftists opposed the war is a lie promulgated by the right....
