7. Equal rights...equal protection...
that's what dems should be supporting across the board.

If there is a dem candidate who supports civil unions, but not gay marriage it gets more complicated. I refuse to vote for a repuke and not voting at all doesn't help the democratic party so I vote for the dem anyway.
