85. YES
Desensitized by violent shows on TV so blood and corpses and abuse no longer shock.
Desensitized over time we see enough killing and suffering we become conditioned to see it as normal'
The Yanomano tribe are abusive. The Yanomano men beat and rape all women from day one. The women are conditioned.. When a researcher stayed with the Yanomano to study them, the beaten yanomano women thought the researchers husband musst not love her..why? because she had no bruises or scars.

For one half of the population to accept abuse it must be taught fear and submission for the other half to dominate they must be taught enntitlement and domination.

How much of our culture is all about teaching kids about enabling social domination and conforming to domination? Fearing punishment seeking rewards? How much of our jobs and interactions are tainted with the moral quandry of excusing abuses of power out of cowardly self preservation from abusers of power,or confronting petty sociopaths?
