So, does the shoe turn into a grenade that the hijacker tosses at the cockpit door?

Does he take off the shoe, walk up to the door, plant it there, light the fuse, then fight off everyone else while waiting for the explosion, then duck as it comes, then charge through the smoke at the newly open doors, overpowering captain and crew...

Or does he keep the shoe on, walk up to the door, stick his foot on it, light the fuse, and blow off his own leg, after which, bleeding from amputation, he gets up, overpowers the crew, takes the controls, and does a loop-de-loop to hit the target on the side that doesn't have Rumsfeld on it...
