when appearing before him, please cite ANY examples of Votes Specter has made in the last 5 years that go against anything the Bush administration is pushing and any Critical statements he's made re: Bush policies followed by ANY substantive action.
I am not blind to anything good Specter does BECAUSE he is a Republican -- I listen to what he says and watch what he does, how he votes, how he leads as chairman -- how he tried to Sweetly Bully Leahy into Going Along to Get Along with him (which thankfully Leahy outrightly resisted today)-- and I object to him -- Even MORE harshly than an Orrin Hatch (total Hatchet man for BushCo) and Sessions, BECAUSE he has that Moderate/Reasonable lable -- hence he ends up being a More Powerful Tool for BushCo to ramrod their agenda down the throats of the American people.
