1. The reasons you stated are symptoms of the disease.

We need to free ourselves (individually) from the "disease" of our limbic system's responses to global, societal, environmental, industrial, and individual problems which are unprecedented in history. Our "old brain" is not suited well for this task. We need empathy, compassion, and critical thinking now more than ever.

greed, aggression, acquisitiveness, ect will lead to our demise one way or another imo.

Thanks for the topic. I think it's too rarely discussed!! :hi:
