I was elated at our victory in November but I am still not really sure that the dems fully comprehend what has been happening. If they don't come out of the gate strong I don't know what can happen. And it has to more than things like raising the minimum wage it has to be the difficult stuff like tackling real health care reforms, insisting on bringing the troops home soon not a year from now and seriously unveiling the crimes of this administration. They have to do this quickly before all anyone can talk about is '08. They have to show that they 'get it' and are there to represent us. Even if they get a veto they still have to try so the people know they understand. So damned much has happened if they wanted to scare us they have succeeded because it all really scares me, we won't recover from what they have done for decades in the Middle East or at home.
