Sam Brownback is a very strange man

In a visit to Davenport, IA yesterday, he said that still wants a judicial nominee to answer questions about her attendance at a commitment ceremony for a lesbian couple, even though he has since dropped the hold on her nomination. It seems that he put a hold on a nominee named Janet Neff due in part to the fact she attended a same sex commitment ceremony. Ms. Neff has stated that one of the women was the daughter of a friend. The incident occured four years ago.
So what is wrong with Brownback and others like him? Why shouldn't Ms. Neff or anyone else be able to attend a ceremony in which two people are stating their love for each other? Especially when one of the parties is a life long friend. We do not need Brownback or anyone else like him for president. For info on this story go to www.qctimes.net and click on local news. It is about halfway down the page.
