80. re. McKinney for President!
Neat, so I'm not the only person to have ever posted a message here with that title. : )

"She should run in the primaries just to make sure the important issues are discussed."

I hadn't thought of it having that purpose, I was just doing some wishful thinking, but that's a good point.

PS Due to the "redistricting" in GA this year, I no longer live in Cynthia's district -- and I'm just a block from what was her North Dekalb headquarters. I was sad I couldn't vote for her, but, I am in John Lewis's district now, and he's fabulous too (plus, he got re-elected.) BTW, I'm sure the bad press about the police incident hurt her in the elections, but I'd bet the redistricting did as well, since part of her Decatur territory was replaced by areas further into the suburbs outside of Decatur and Atlanta. (Assuming the voting was even 100% legit.)

Anyway... seeing the news about her impeachment bill made my day : ) (even though I wasn't totally happy with the way the Yahoo story was written.)
