5. a better question would be
how do you ask your kiddo to be the last person to die for a mistake?

And even more to the point, how do you ask yourself to be the last person to die for a mistake?

My SO in service as a Lt. Cdr had to address many operations requirements on board the Enterprise, not the least of which included estimating adequate stocks of body bags and containers.

There are many people who need to ponder that question, often, but most of all our legislators and executive branch.
