8. I spent years in retail and back then we opened at 7AM on Black Friday
(as it was known to the sales staff, it was Good Friday to the management).
There will be people lined up, I promise. Many will (no joke) sleep in their cars.
Having sales staff come it in that early never did make sense to me considering how few sales we actually made during the time. This was a high-end department store, so your average Mervyn's and Target may vary... :shrug:
