15. What I find really interesting in that family's
dynamics is that Jeb was actually the one who was supposed to have run for president and not his idiot brother. But because he lost his first race for FL governor, that set the timetable back and paved the way for George to "make the plunge", so to speak, instead. Apparently, there's some real underlying bitterness about that from both Jeb and Poppy. On the night that both George won the race for TX governor, Poppy called him, ostensibly to offer congratulations. But apparently, instead of congratulating George, all they talked about during the ten-minute conversation was the affect this would have on Jeb and his chances for running for the presidency. That speaks volumes to me about that family and its dynamics.
