5. Well, Republicans aren't as energized as they were in '04
So what scares me about a ruling in favor of gay marriage is that it could produce a "Republicans coming home" effect and swing races in their directions in other states. As for NJ itself...Menendez and Kean have the same position on gay marriage, so the ruling won't affect NJ-Sen.
