I'm not sure any of those people "rationalize" so much. I drink because I like it, and I don't get drunk or hurt people. Rationalization? Not really!

Smokers usually know *exactly* how unhealthy their habit it and even have an inflated idea about how much other people hate it. They might make excuses for not quitting, but heck, it's hard to quit.
