The Republicans have nobody to offer for 2008. I do mean nobody. I've not seen any proposed candidates put forth that wouldn't be shredded by even the Constitution party. Their best hope is to pull some tame, lackluster Congressman out of their party, and run him against a highly divisive and easily assailable target like Hillary, so that their Poindexter will win via Hillary losing. It's the only chance in hell they have, and relies on Hillary being the nominee.

No offense meant to Hillary or any of her supporters, but she'd be a dead ship in the water for a presidential run. Every nasty piece of BS the Republicans can come up with will be slapped onto her, and distressingly enough, America will buy it, because they've been conditioned to.
