North Korea: Eric Massa's Prescription for Progress
Advertisements [?]
Eric Massa, Democratic candidate for Congress in NY's 29th District, and frequent internet blogger, has a new Diary up at Kos today:

"NY-29: North Korea - Failure of Leadership"
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/10/10/74956/104

It's too long to fully quote from here, but Massa details these 4 R's. The short explanatory phrases in parenthesis are my own, Eric talks about each in much greater detail than I can capture:

1) Reconvene (Congress)
2) Refocus (look beyond Iraq)
3) Redeploy (American resources that were directed at Iraq are needed elsewhere)
4) Re-energize (Restore vitality to our traditional alliances and diplomacy in South East Asia)

As always Eric is thoughtful AND damning of the Bush Administration. His Diary there is well worth a look.
