I wish some DUers that are better informed, etc., than I would call into these shows, and get after these people. sure wish we had a chance to tell the real truth.

I was also on a show (some life) on a Wisconsin NPR station this morning, cause some lying RW sac of shite was braying about how Clinton turned the White House into the penthouse, and that the dems let SENATOR Barney Frank off, even though he turned his apartment into a WHOREHOUSE. that steamed me so much I had to call in to set the record straight.

I used the knowledge of the ethics committee investigation that I read about HERE yesterday that proved that Frank didn't know about the 'ring,' and that the phone calls allegedly made, or forwarded to his place DID NOT, most likely happen, and that the guy who dimed Frank was a big liar, as well as the caller, who typified the RW's approach to every controversy, which is to lie and deflect, just as they did to Gore and Kerry (I cited the Swiftboaters). This forces the dems on the defensive, which makes them repeat chapter and verse to refute the easily told lies, which, by the time the refutation has a chance to be aired, have sunk into the public consciousness. the ahole guest, a poli-sci prof at the U of Illinois, where, ironically I took many poli sci courses, 'set the record straight' by saying that he thought congress DID nail Frank, actually. they wouldn't let me back on to tell him that their reprimand was for fixing about 30 parking tickets for his lovah; that was it. I also used the simple refutation that comer perro (?), I think, posited here yesterday: why didn't dems simply ask why the republicans condemn the actions of sickos like Foley, instead of muddy the waters with their tactics? Don't they care about what happens to the children?
