22. The fact that the religious right
is pulling this sort of shit just verifies how power-mad they've become. Under any other presidency, even that of Poppy, this kind of bold move would have been squelched by cooler heads and common sense would have prevailed.

But right now, however, under this fucked-up regime we're currently saddled with, anything the RRR does is perfectly fine. That includes motions to teach creationism, motions to suppress school topics like sex education, altering textbooks, keeping statues of the 10 commandments in front of public/federal buildings and allowing groups like this to try and cloud the minds of so many of the gullible.

It's easy to see why the U.S. has lost its superpower status and the title of greatest nation in the world. The RRR is setting us back aqbout 150 years into the stone age of the 19th century in technological, scientific and philosophic areas because of their ignorance and their intolerance.
