Memo from Camp Casey 3

After an all day drive, I arrived last night just in time for dinner.

Cindy is here and looks good but thin. She is very cheerful and seems happy to be surrounded by her closest supporters once again.

The place is hopping, with everyone working at getting ready for the crowds expected for the weekend. These people are the most wonderful jump right in and get to work folks I have ever met. I am going to try to make this quick since I have guard duty in an hour and have to eat lunch before I go. There are also a couple folks waiting to use my laptop.

Right after dinner, we went to watch a photo shoot for the Iconoclast. The subject was the White House Chain Gang. If I can get my pictures uploaded, I will post them. (The server here is kinda slow - sorry bout that)

Then we had a beautiful sunset ceremony to dedicate a cross at Camp Casey in memory of the 2600th soldier to die in Iraq.

This morning, we have been busy planning a ceremony to thank Willie Nelson for the generator he generously donated. That will happen at 5:00 today.

Now for the needs. I have been asked to post this wish list. I know DUers will come through for Cindy and Camp Casey 3.
