Couldn't forsee a civil war?

Oh really?

Just how friggin' ignorant are the people running this country?

So they thought you could invade a country, fire everyone running the, infrastructure, police, and military. Tell them to go home and take their weapons with them.

And the Sunni and Shia were just going to live in peace?

The way the Generals acted today was incredible. They said they didn't forsee the building civil war.

My god!!!
All it would have taken would have been some very basic knowledge of the geopolitical/secular history of that region.
With just the basic understanding that many of us had then, we saw this coming.

I remember being shutdown as "unpatriotic" for telling others about the huge mistake that was happening at the start of "Shock and Awe".

How can so many of us have seen this yet our "leaders" are suddenly stupid about it?
Doesn't anyone remember the Shia uprising inspired by Bush 41?
Don't we all remember the Sunni Baathists slaughtering the Shia while we watched?

And they couldn't "forsee" this?
Bullsh*t I say.
