Maybe not, but that guy knows the week I guess.

Even if a Christian is a premillennialist who believes in a Rapture, Jesus clearly said:

"Watch therefore, for you don't know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming."

It is quite possible that your acquaintance read some fiction books, like the Left Behind series, and took them verry seriously. Or he might have seen it on TV.

He's going to be doing a lot of soul-searching after next week.
