27. I don't think so.
Since the policy has gone into effect, over 10,000 servicemembers have been discharged under DADT at a cost to $364 million to US taxpayers. A significant portion of them have been Arab/Farsi translators or medical workers. On average, three gay soldiers are been dismissed every day.
