I don't see anyone being up in arms about that one.
I think it was volkswagon anyway, where it was implying that everyone that bought one was a vegetarian and a green conscious consumer etc.. I don't see anyone complaining about that image.
Hummer is marketing towards their target audience, and the commercials do it well. You are not their target audience obviously. But yes, many who might be interested in a hummer would be of the "gimme a big juicy steak and a beer" type. Nothing wrong with that, it's just their market.
