When the last CNO was talking to sailors, the biggest gripe was the uniforms we had to wear. So the Navy had a big study called Task Force Uniform. It came out the the uniform the sailors most wanted to wear was a camouflage style uniform. It's far more comfortable, durable, and practical then the current utilities. The only reason that the color is blue/grey is because it's the Navy, and the color of the uniform really doesn't matter for the most part. By the way, the current standard work boot for the navy is a combat boot with a steel toe.
