52. I dismissed the idea that Lopez Obrador could become president
since the first article I read about this election months ago.

Just won't be allowed to happen and someday we would read how "we" did the rigging that would make the actual will of the Mexican people irrelevant.

I feel _slightly_ less confident of my prediction tonight - the Mexican people are a factor I hadn't taken into account. I am too used to the American fat, fed and flopped in folding chair model of citizenship.

Silly me!
