14. I know why they didn't attack Merle
Too many good ole boys like me have had his albums, tapes, and CDs for many years. My band played some of his songs in the 1960s. The chickenhawks might have actually tried to demonize him like they did the Dixie Chicks. If so, I'm sure it would have gone over like a lead baloon.
