Jeff Smith in the primaries when he ran. I would do so again but he's running for state rep now and he is not in my district. He is awesome and what is needed in DC and Jefferson City.
Not everyone in Missouri holds the Carnahans in high esteem. Russ' mom voted for the PATRIOT Act as well as the Iraq War Resolution (two votes she still does not regret, I know because I've asked her). They are pure DLC conservative Dems, which might explain why Jean Carnahan lost her election to the real Republican, James (no)Talent.
