This is how she characterizes *'s war on a common noun, without enumerating the alleged successes. She's enchanted by Zarqawi's death because he's a celebrity. She doesn't know whether the execution of six people, including a woman and a child, is going to slow the killing in Iraq. Until that question is answered, no one can trumpet this as a success.

So what, exactly, was won yesterday? What will be the result of Zarqawi's death? Is it more than just another round in a brutal game of Tag? If what Ms. Morgan is lauding isn't a solution, then isn't she just supporting continued violence? Trading a chance for real progress for a warm 'n' fuzzy moment?
