Flood waters are rising, and a man is standing on his roof. "God, save me!" he prays. A canoe comes floating by, but he watches is pass, saying "God will save me." Two guys come by in a rowboat, but he turns them away, saying "God will save me." Then a helicopter flies overhead, hovers over him, and lowers a rope, but he turns it away, saying "God will save me." The waters rise and rise, and finally wash him away.

When he arrives in Heaven, he meets God. "Why didn't you save me?" he asks.

"What do you mean?" asks God. "I sent a canoe, a rowboat, and a helicopter!"
