Aside from the fact that they've done remarkable work together, their friendship and relationship alone has made me come to respect and admire them both more. If you're too narrow-minded to be friends with someone with whom you don't share the same political outlook you're to be pitied, nothing more. People who can set aside their differences for the public good or simply to build a personal friendship in the face of them make a positive impression on me, even more so when they're ex-presidents. I also don't see how this relates to Bush II in any viable way. If anything, Clinton and Bush I have shown they're both better men than the current president.
