11. put on your tin foil hat
there are more then a few things that simply don't make sense about Big Dog, for a Rhodes scholar married to a goldwater republican, it seemed crazy to see him dance while the gopig bullets flew near his feet. Why didn't Bill simply stonewall-why didn't he sic the IRS on his persecutors (it's said the IRS could put the pope in jail) just to scare off the bullies? It's seemed like Clinton knew alot more about the 'game' then he let on, knew that bushinc was psycho and that if he wanted to be certain Chelsea never got hurt or friends like Sue McDougal or Ron Brown/Vince Foster(?) etc it best to play the role assigned him, survive and wait for the opportunity....Back in early 90's, i heard that the real state of affirs re the economy after 12 years of republican looting the treasury was so atrocious that...well there was nothing clinton could do but try fix it while the repukes attacked him...iow clinton discovered the oval office was mainly for show, and the people were too cowed, too powerless, to resist. It would seem that Clinton would have much more in common with Jimmy Carter, but the OPTICS of that....not prudent etc. Bill's watching out for Chelsea (and Hillary too) the only way he can....
