Reminds me of how many churches (especially the "megachurches") did in fact pray for victory in the war. One church I saw on TV one day, I think his name is Hagee, was basically spewing forth Bush war rhetoric, right there in the pulpit! It was DISGUSTING. What a turn off. And talk about the lack of separation of church and state! You know, Hitler got most of the churches on his side too, which should scare these modern-day Bush-worshipping churches. But ah, some people's memories are so short...
To them, God is a "pro-war, pro-Bush, it's all about me, how famous/rich/healthy/successful can He make me" type of God. That's not the God I serve...makes me want to
