75. I, for one, have "watched much of it lately"...
and this season has been total and utter shit, with the exception of the Chef Returns episode and some parts of the Cartoon Wars (though few and far between).

Everything else has been absolute shit. Not just "shit relative to their normal output," but "makes Pauly Shore look like fucking Richard Pryor."

The whole Towelie episode was probably their worst ever. The one tonight was derivative and really pathetically lazy "oh, look, Al Gore has a lisp and keeps saying 'serial,'" (which I honestly must say I didn't get at all) har har har. Oprah's pussy taking everyone hostage? Oh, wait, I FUCKING ALREADY SAW THAT ON FAMILY GUY (you know, the show that Matt and Trey say has no creativity) WHEN CHRIS' ZIT HELD HIM AT GUN-POINT!! (and it was already pretty stupid, there). The whole hybrid car thing, with the "cloud of smug" engulfing SF; it was just stupid.

Honestly, other than the Chef Returns episode (which was absolutely perfect; makes me think all of their energy went in to that one, and they're just phoning the rest in) and a few bits of Cartoon Wars, what in the other episodes was worth being put to screen?

And it's not that they're making fun of Al Gore, it's that they're making fun of him in the stupidest way possible: having him talk with the standard-parody lisp and saying "serial" instead of "seriously." That's it. That's all they could say to make fun of Gore. There was no greater point made about hypocrisy; it was just, "Yeah, he's such a douche."

It's lazy. That's why it's not funny.
