6. Again, the key word is WARRANTLESS
Funny, how that word keeps coming up lately?

The girl was searched without a WARRANT from a judge.

You believe the drug dealer is going to use the kid as a mule? Fine, get a warrant.

Otherwise, what's to stop some creep cop from getting his jollies off strip-searching a ten-year-old-girl and her mother on the spur of the moment?

Oh, and by the way (notwithstanding your curious reference to "the plutonium") it's not like we're talking about interrogating a suspect who KNOWS WHERE THE BOMB IS THAT'S ABOUT TO GO OFF. We're talking about trying to track down a few grams of blow. Yeah, so the cops might not get their hands on those few grams if they don't get to strip-search the girl in this case... but it's not like a whole city is going to go up in flames or something. Take the loss, let the girl go (even though you THINK the dealer's using her as a mule)... and get a fricking warrant next time if searching the whole damn household is so damn important.

What the hell is it about RULE OF LAW that some people have such a hard time understanding?
