He has never complained about things tasting different or bad. He keeps his in all the time, only removing them to clean them. He sleeps with them in and is adamant about that. He says if you take them out for hours at a time you have to get used to them all over again.

My husband doesn't use anything to keep them in...they fit well. No gag reflex according to him.

PS When you have them made have them make them more natural looking. My husband's upper plate doesn't have all of the teeth the exact same length. The lateral incisors and canines are just a tad shorter than the central incisors. Nobody even knows he has them besides me because they look so natural. He has a lower partial and full upper.
